TAVISCorporation Warranty
TAVIS warrants that all work furnished pursuant to this contract shall be free from defects in (i) the original design as well as the design of any work furnished where TAVIS has final design discretion in complying with Contract requirements, (ii) material, and (iii) workmanship. TAVIS’ obligations under this warranty shall be limited, at TAVIS’ option, to repairing, replacing, or reperforming the Work that, within one year from date of shipment, is returned to TAVIS and that, after examination, is determined by TAVIS to be defective. This warranty shall not apply to any work that has been repaired or altered, except by TAVIS, or that has been subjected to physical or electrical abuse or misuse by Buyer. Transportation of replacement work, return of nonconforming work, and reperformance of Work under warranty shall be at TAVIS’ expense. All warranties shall run to Buyer and its customers. THE WARRANTIES STATED HEREIN ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS. TAVIS NEITHER ASSUMES NOR HAS AUTHORIZED ANY OTHER PERSON TO ASSUME FOR IT ANY OTHER LIABILITY. TAVIS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE WITH RESPECT TO ANY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES SOLD OR RENDERED HEREUNDER.”
Returns to TAVIS
Prior to returning units to TAVISCorporation, a Returned Materials Authorization (RMA) must be requested to ensure that the unit can easily be identified by our Shipping/Receiving personnel. To obtain an RMA, you must contact TAVISCorporation to describe the details of the return (product number, serial number and the reason for return). The TAVISCorporation point of contact will generate the RMA based upon the provided information.
After obtaining an RMA and shipping the product back to TAVISCorporation, the return will be setup within our internal system and an incoming evaluation performed. The unit will be serviced based upon the results of the incoming evaluation. The unit will then be shipped back to you. Alternatively, if the incoming evaluation shows that the unit is Beyond Economical Repair (BER), the TAVISCorporation point of contact will discuss with you the next steps/options.
